Independent Advisor Alliance is Rebranding!

You may have heard the news: Independent Advisor Alliance is getting a fresh new look and name!

As we continue to grow and level up what we offer our partner firms, we’re rolling out a rebrand that better reflects our energy, momentum, and future vision. Same advisor-first philosophy, same partnership — just a sharper way to show the world who we are.

Check out our Q&A to see what this means for you.

Why did IAA decide to rebrand?

IAA has grown tremendously — not just in size, but in capabilities, leadership, and the impact we have on our partner firms. The rebrand ensures our identity reflects the firm we are today and the future we’re building. It gives us a clearer, more modern way to communicate our value and our commitment to supporting independence.

What’s actually changing?

You’ll see a refreshed visual identity, updated messaging, and a more consistent experience across our platforms, communications, and events. Behind the scenes, it also reflects continued investment in leadership, infrastructure, technology, and advisor support.

When will you unveil your new name?

The big reveal is happening at VettaFi’s Exchange Conference in Las Vegas on the evening of March 16. We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with the advisors joining us at the event!

Will anything change operationally for advisors?

There won’t be any disruption. Your teams, relationships, and support channels remain the same.

What do advisors need to do?

At this time, nothing is required from you. There are no immediate changes advisors need to make, and no action is needed until Q1 2027.

If you are planning to order or refresh any stationery or branded items (such as business cards, letterhead, signage, or similar materials), we recommend ordering only what you’ll need through Q1 2027.

Is IAA changing its business model or strategy?

No. Our advisor-first philosophy, independence, and customized support model remain exactly the same. This rebrand is about alignment — making sure our brand matches the experience, resources, and partnership advisors already receive.

Is IAA being acquired or preparing for a sale?

No. This rebrand is not tied to a sale or ownership change. It’s about building a brand that supports our long-term vision and continued growth alongside our partner firms.

How does this help me and my firm?

A stronger brand identity benefits advisors when recruiting clients and staff, positioning your business, and explaining your partnership with us. It reinforces the credibility of the platform behind you and how we support your goals and vision.

How should I talk about the rebrand with my clients if necessary?

You can position it as IAA investing in its future — modernizing its brand to reflect the strength, stability, and depth of the platform supporting your business. It reinforces that you’re partnered with a firm built for the long term.
